- Identity Verification: Reviewing and approving agents and unmanaged landlords to keep public listings safe and vetted.
- Payment Processing: Delegating secure checkout services directly through fully integrated, bank-grade payment providers (such as Paystack).
- Communications: Dispatching invoice alerts, rental callback notifications, and support ticket resolutions.

Note on Paystack Integrations: MaliPay does not store or see credit card numbers, CVV codes, or full banking passwords. Payment information is securely tokensied and executed directly via Paystack's verified, compliant environment using raw body HMAC signature verifications to safeguard webhook traffic against interceptors.
4. Information Sharing & Transfers
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal details to third-party advertisers. Your information is shared exclusively with:
- Property Owners & Agents: Providing names and unit assignments to authorize lease signings and payment matches.
- Legal Compliance: Government regulators, tax entities, or law enforcement bodies when strictly demanded by Kenyan or regional legislation.
5. Your Choices & Data Rights
You maintain total control over your information:
- Update Profile: You can modify your phone numbers, signed leases, avatar urls, and notification preferences at any time in the settings page.
- Data Deletion: You can demand the permanent deletion of your account and related profile details, provided there are no active, legally binding leases or pending financial invoices in dispute.
